Take the DELF

Since 2007, Alliance Française Phuket has been an official centre where you can prepare and take the DELF exam (Diploma in French Language). 352 people have already taken it in our Alliance!

What is the DELF ? The DELF is an examination of written and oral communication skills in French. The diploma is issued by the French Ministry of National Education. It has no validity limit and guarantees a level that complies with the European Union standards regarding foreign languages (from A1 to B2). There is an A1.1 level for very young children and the most advanced people (C1, C2) can take the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language).

Why is it interesting to take the DELF?  This diploma is recognised worldwide and represents a good asset for your resume. It favorises professional integration not only in the European Union, but also internationally since French is spoken on all continents!

It is necessary to obtain the elementary level of the DELF (A1) to obtain a long-stay visa in France.

Level B1 is mandatory to obtain the French nationality.

Most French universities require foreign students to take the DELF B2.

Who can register? Everyone, regardless of nationality or age.

There are  different diplomas adapted to the age of the participants:

- DELF Prim (A1.1, A1, A2) for children aged 8 to 12
